General Description

This subgroup of the ssRNA satellite viruses contains a single member associated with a virus of bees. The characteristic of a satellite virus (as opposed to satellite nucleic acids) is that is encapsidated in self-encoded protein structures. The satellite viruses are associated with a taxonomically diverse group of viruses and are dependent upon them for replication.

Morphology

Virions are isometric, about 12nm in diameter.

Genome

There are three RNA components each about 1kb in size.

Genus Genomic Organization

There are no sequence data.

Type Member Genomic Organization
