General Description

This is the only genus of mycoviruses that has double-stranded DNA. The genus name is derived from the name of the type (and only) member.

Morphology

Virions isometric, about 60 nm in diameter.

Genome

Monopartite double stranded DNA with a Mr of 16.8 x 106.
