Over 400 individual descriptions of plant viruses or virus groups are provided. Nos 1-354 were originally published in paper form by the Association of Applied Biologists (AAB) between 1970 and 1989, while additional descriptions have been added to a CD-ROM (also published by the AAB) since 1998. This internet version uses the same databases as the CD-ROM version. The descriptions can be accessed from the indexes in the DPV menu or from the Taxonomy pages.
